On the Drive home from Symposium we happened to stop at the Darlingtonia Preserve off Hwy 101 on the Oregon coast just north of Florence.  This small park is on a peat bog & has an amazing concentration of Darlingtonia, a carnivorous California pitcher plant better known as Cobra Lily.  It’s lime green color was so vivid & fresh – a real visual oasis!  A couple more stops at the dunes and beaches was a nice way to decompress after the jam-packed week in San Francisco!

In case you missed Hitomi Gilliam AIFD’s program last week at AIFD Symposium in San Fran, featuring Design358 designers Scott Hasty AIFD, Lois Hiranaga AIFD, Jim Martin, & Brooke Raulerson AIFD – we thought we’d post the intro videos that we put together to open the program as well as introduce each designer on stage.  *Note: Remember that these aren’t videos of the program itself, but they were shown at the beginning &  during the program as Hitomi introduced each designer.  We had a blast putting them together and introducing a bit of today’s generation into the program!
