While in Taos, New Mexico last month for the ‘Survival of the Creative Mind’ Conference, we had the opportunity to stay and live for a few nights in the Earthship Community, renting out their Phoenix House for the weekend.  Built entirely out of recycled materials and requiring a yearly utility bill of less than $100, the Phoenix House and the rest of the Earthship community are amazing structures, and if you’re ever in Taos, NM – be sure to stop by the visitor centre!
