Colin, although not a floral designer, works extensively within the floral industry. Being the son of Design358 Creative Director Hitomi Gilliam, he has been surrounded by flowers and art his entire life. After attending the University of Hawaii -Hilo on a golf scholarship and a short stint on the Canadian Professional Golf Tour, Colin returned to his creative roots and turned to photography and graphic design.

He now works full time as a photographer, graphic designer, and illustrator. His photography has been featured in a number of publications within the industry. He has been hired for various projects within commercial & fashion photography, as well as logo, print, & website design (He designed the Design358 website). His artwork, mostly featuring floral images, has been featured in galleries in Vancouver as well as the 2010 Telus World Ski & Snowboard Festival.

Most recently, Colin has co-founded the independent clothing brand Origami Ghost, that features limited run shirts and accessories designed by Colin himself. You can find the link to Origami Ghost on the left side of this page.
