Passionate is a word that is frequently used to describe Debbie.  She is a passionate floral design educator.  Using her degree in Ornamental Horticulture from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and years of practical experience as both a retail and wholesale florist, she shares with her ROP High School students and adults an invaluable “learn by doing” approach to floristry.  Debbie is passionate about continuing her knowledge of new concepts and techniques in floral design and is a frequent participant in workshops and master classes.  Passion for all aspects floristry and the many wonderful friendships, her art has nurtured, motivates her to give back to the industry that has given her so much.   Her service on the board of directors for California State Floral Association and involvement with the SW Chapter of AIFD are both satisfying and productive.   Together with her husband Tony who is also a Design 358 member they are in a constant design dialogue that informs their unique floral stylings.
