In 2007, Debby was inducted into the American Institute of Floral Designers in Palm Desert. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Syracuse University and a Professional Diploma in Secondary Art Education from University of Hawaii. She has worked in the floral industry for over 25 years, with family-owned business, Malia’s Leis & Flowers; then co-owned a floral wedding company, Sun-Made Designs, Inc.; and since 1996, the owner of Ambiance Today – a floral company. She has experience as a designer, a visual display artist, buyer and as an instructor. She has been teaching Adult Ed-Wedding Design since 1998 and has recently participated in local and mainland demonstrations and workshops, as an instructor. She brings years of creative endeavour, technical and organizational skills to the DESIGN358 team.
