Kathy is a visual event stylist, floral designer, teacher, author, program presenter and workshop facilitator. For 30 years, Kathy created events as Nature’s Daughter in Basking Ridge, New Jersey where she specialized in large-scale events for a discerning clientele.

Most of her work as a visual event stylist and floral designer has been in New York and its metropolitan area where she also taught Special Event and Floral Design courses at the New York Botanical Garden for 15 years.

A respected event professional, Kathy served on the Board of Special Event Magazine, a leading industry publication, and also served as a judge for the magazine’s annual Gala Awards, considered the “Oscars” of the Special Event Industry. Kathy, as Nature’s Daughter, is the recipient of 5 Gala Awards as well as other industry awards and nominations.

An active member of AIFD since 1986, she is a five-time presenter at AIFD’s National Symposium and a long-term member of its Education Committee. She is a co-authors author of three editions of The AIFD Guide to Floral Design.

She is currently co-authoring a book with Hitomi Gilliam on a fresh look at judging, due to be published in the Summer of 2011.

Nature’s Daughter is now located in Naples, Florida.
