Born and raised on the island, Lois is truly a Maui girl. She earned a degree from the University of Hawaii in marketing and management. In 2008, Lois was inducted into the American Institute of Floral Designers. With over 25 years of horticulture background, Lois brings a wealth of knowledge to the Design358 team. In 2009, both Hitomi and Lois co authored, “Neotropica Hawaii Tropical Flower and Plant Guide”. She has designed for Hawaii’s finest resort properties for many years. Of recent, she launched Lois Hiranaga Floral Design specializing in destination weddings and corporate events. She has a fast growing reputation as her client’s find her easy to work with all the while her works is meticulous with every attention to detail. Her designs has been featured in Flowers&, Fleur Creatif, and Florists Only Magazine. When not at work, she loves to travel…. always in search of new ideas and new found inspiration from around the world. She is part of the Design358 instructor team. In 2011, she will be a program presenter at AIFD National Symposium in San Francisco, “Next Generation”. ”
