Susanne was inducted into the American Institute of Floral Designers in 2008. She had a wedding consulting business for 10 years, worked in retail and taught an accredited floral design program for Surrey Continuing Education and Surrey College. She served as President of the Canadian Professional Floral Designers Association (CPFDA) for 2 years and is an board member of the Northwest Chapter of AIFD. She has been active teaching for the Design 358 Center 4 Professional Floral Education and demonstrating at various venues in Vancouver and the U.S.

She is also active writing articles for Canadian Florist Magazine and CPFDA newsletter about local floral events. She enjoys sharing her knowledge in private tutoring sessions or being an assistant to many popular floral designers such as Kevin Ylvisaker, AIFD Tomas De Bruyne, Bert Ford, AIFD and Els Teunissen to name a few.

Susanne has co-instructed and assisted Hitomi Gilliam, AIFD on numerous high profile corporate events and private functions. She brings her exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to Design 358 team.
