Yukari fell in love with Moraine Lake, one of the glacier lakes in the Rocky Mountains. This breathtakingly beautiful, tiny emerald green lake grasped her heart and changed her life entirely. Yukari decided to move to Canada. Later, as a tour guide in the Rockies, her passion for Mother Nature and flowers took hold and she felt compelled to begin her career as a floral designer. After completing her Floral Design training in Vancouver BC, Yukari welcomed the opportunity to work for successful companies known for creating stunning designs & events at some of the most elite hotels in the city. Combining the beauty of nature with her creativity yields a “Unique Floral Design” (That’s her company name!) and each composition is perfectly matched to the event. Her boundless creative talents are apparent in every piece that is designed, showcasing her passion for quality and uncompromising desire for individual technique and style.

Yukari was inducted to the American Institute of Floral Designers (AIFD) in July, 2009 in Kansas City, MO. She is also a member of The Canadian Professional Floral Designers Association (CPFDA) and served as President of CPFDA for 2 years. Yukari received an award from her industry peers, “The People’s Choice Award 2005”, and her Valentine’s Day design was featured in the Jan/Feb issue of Canadian Florist Magazine in 2008. She brings her exceptional attention to detail and meticulousness of execution to the DESIGN358 team.
